Good news: our sweet Brooke is cast free! After 4 weeks in a cast, she was such a trooper and a brave patient when they took it off this week, saw and all. She didn't even bat an eye! (But was so thankful for the puppy dog sticker they gave her at the end.) She's practically waltzing around the house. Ok, but seriously: she is still really getting used to walking without the cast. Fingers crossed she'll have her normal gait back after the weekend.
Her most happy moment right after the cast came off? A bath. Splish splashing in the tub with her big brother and making a royal water mess. But loving every single second of it. (And I did too.)
