This week in Enid America

This week...

Brooke started crawling! I can hardly believe we are already at that stage - wasn't she just coming home from the hospital? Also, she's eating sweet potatoes, apples, peas, and green beans. Up next: peaches! and pears! (and by the way she shimmies around the house, walking. Stay tuned...)
It was a lucky night for us when we were both home and both helping with dinner. (Dinner is always tastier on those nights, I think.) On this night, we were grilling. Steaks. And making pasta to accompany them (and to appease our busy two-year old.) And Greg lit himself on fire - not on purpose. Certainly one of those moments where you think "is this seriously happening?!?" And so, it was captured on camera.
And we got to see Seth run in his last track meet of the season!

And Nate has started riding his bike. All by himself. And really pedaling. When he get stuck, our neighbor friend Buddy (who is three) helps him. And it's adorable. He has a helmet that has bugs on it and he like to call it his "hat for bike."
(Helmet not pictured here. Sorry, Captain Safety. Next time.)
