We are thrilled to announce that Nate was baptized two weeks ago at Bellarmine's Orton Chapel. Father Gerry officiated the baptism (he's the same priest who married Greg and I - it was so special to have him witness this occasion for us, too!) My parents came up for the weekend as did Audrie, and we had a great time visiting with friends at our house after the ceremony.
How did Nate do? Amazing. He chatted during parts of the ceremony and loved (really,
loved!) the water being poured on him.
We took my parents some place new when they were here for the weekend, too. After 8 years of visiting Tacoma, we finally went to Vashon Island, a short 15 minute ferry ride from Point Defiance. It a blustery day, but a great short get-away.
