A birthday celebration

In honour of her 26th year, Audrie and I celebrated a couple of different times: we went for a girls day early in February to the spa (oh la la!) and then toured a fantastic chocolate factory in Seattle. The best part of the tour? The tasting. Sure, it was 10am, but once you've had a morsel of Theo Chocolate, there's no turning back. It's more delicious than any other chocolate I've had. (And I'm a proud chocolate sampler.)

And then, on her special day, I hit the road to Portland, her new city-home, and we spent the day walking in the sunshine with Jeff Brown, hanging out and people watching. (Our favorite game to play while people watching? "What's their story?")

Some pictures from our girls day and from the sunny Sunday in Portland.
